Edit & Save a report

It is possible to edit and save a report by sending it to the web client.

To edit and save a report:

  1. Select the report cell, click the Edit & Save button.

  2. The Web login window will appear, if the user is not already logged in.

  3. Select the same database and user name as was used in the Office add-in and click Login.
    The Excel report will be loaded as a web report.

  4. Make changes in the report and save changes using the Report > Save menu option. To continue working with the report in Excel, click the link in the left-hand panel.

  5. Click Continue if the Windows client is already installed on your computer. Otherwise, click Download Installer to install the Windows client.

  6. The Select Report Place dialog box appears upon clicking Continue. In the Select Report Place dialog box, select where the report is to be inserted.

The report is pasted to the selected report place.
