Log in to Excel add-in

Login is necessary before any data can be accessed in the AARO database. To log in to AARO from Excel after opening the add-in, follow these steps:

1. On the AARO Reports menu in Excel, click the Login button.

2. When accessing the database for the first time, please enter the AARO server address and then click on the Go button.
   Please note that the address should be entered without the ‘/ui’.

3. Enter Username (usually an email address).

4. Click on the Submit button.
   Depending on the External Identity Provider used, you will be redirected to the sign-in form where you can enter your login credentials.

5. Enter login credentials. If Multifactor Authentication is enabled, it will be applied.

6. Upon logging in, if automatic upgrade is enabled, the system will conduct a check for new file versions and proceed to request an upgrade. It is recommended to accept the upgrade.
