This functionality under the Formula builder menu is available to users with special 'Formula builder' right. For more information on users' special rights, please, refer to Other special rights in the AARO User Manual.


Formula builder button

Clicking the Formula builder button opens the Excel Formula Builder window. Existing AARO Excel retrieve formulas are presented upon login.


Excel Formula builder window

The Excel Formula Builder window consists of a function tree to the left and work area to the right. Functions in the tree are organized into categories with parameters listed under function names. The work area shows information for the element selected in the tree.
The buttons in the Excel formula builder window are as follows:

Button

Description

Save

Saves all functions and categories.

New

Creates a new function, category or parameter.

Delete

Deletes the selected category, function or parameter.

Close

Closes the Excel Formula Builder window.
